Coaching Supervision

I bring my knowledge of the Psychology of Work, Coaching Psychology and Personal Development to my work as a supervisor. I am a Chartered Coaching Psychologist and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. As I am on the BPS RAPPS register for supervising Coaching Psychologists, having supervision with me will fulfil that requirement of your Chartership.

I view coaches as autonomous professionals, who know the value and values of themselves and their clients, whether or not those values have yet been made explicit. I believe that all coaches are on a development path that we can explore together, partnering to understand the meaning making that you are undertaking with your clients and within yourselves.

My Approach

Because of my experience working within organisational and team development, I naturally take a systemic approach. I encourage coaches to consider the different lenses that might be useful to explore their practice through and then focus our work through that variety of perspectives. I approach supervision with the intention to create a supportive, developmental, collaborative and reflective space to explore your coaching practice in together. I work with you as a reflexive thinking partner to explore and identify with curiosity aspects of your approach, such as patterns, strengths, challenges and blind spots as well as aspirations and plans for development.

My coaching and supervision are informed by humanistic psychology and take a systemic approach. At its heart my practice is about being curiously client-centred, valuing individuals for who they are, with their own agency and choices and supporting them on their development journey. I believe in the need to consider holistic human beings and in development that helps them to reach their full potential.
